What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry when you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter. We also collect limited technical information automatically through cookies, including your device type and how you use our pages, as set out in our Cookie Policy.

How we use your information

We process your personal information to respond to your enquiries, to provide the advisory services you request, to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and — where you have consented — to send you occasional financial insights. We process information only where we have a lawful basis to do so under POPIA.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who support our operations (for example, secure hosting or email delivery) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, and with regulatory authorities such as SARS where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep it

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described here, or as required by South African tax, company and financial legislation. Client engagement records are typically retained for the statutory periods that apply to financial and tax records.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask that we correct or delete it, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. Access to client records is limited to team members who need it to do their work.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal information in line with POPIA, we ask that you contact us first so we can address it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
