Privacy Policy
This policy sets out how Fiscal Bridge Advisory (Pty) Ltd (Proprietary Limited (Pty Ltd)), trading as Fiscal Bridge, processes personal information in connection with the website frenadom.com and its financial consulting services, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"). Each processing activity below is stated together with its legal basis under POPIA before any description of what is collected.
1. Legal bases for processing
Fiscal Bridge processes personal information only where one of the following grounds under POPIA applies: consent given by the data subject; processing necessary to conclude or perform a contract to which the data subject is party; compliance with a legal obligation; protection of a legitimate interest of the data subject; or pursuit of a legitimate interest of Fiscal Bridge or a third party to whom the information is supplied, provided this does not override the data subject's own interests.

3. Contact form
When a visitor submits the contact form on frenadom.com, Fiscal Bridge collects the name, email address, optional phone number and message text entered. This information is used solely to respond to the enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a proposal for consulting services. Contact form submissions are retained for 24 months from last correspondence, after which they are deleted unless retention is required for an active client relationship or legal obligation.
4. Email subscription
Visitors may subscribe to receive updates and insights from Fiscal Bridge by submitting their email address via the subscription form. The email address is stored together with the date of subscription and used only to send the requested communications. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Upon unsubscribing, the address is removed from the active mailing list within 30 days, subject to a suppression record kept to honour the opt-out.
5. Cookies
The website uses necessary, analytics and marketing cookies as described in the separate Cookie Policy. Analytics and marketing cookies are only activated after consent is given through the cookie banner and can be withdrawn at any time via the cookie preference settings.
6. Hosting and third-party operators
The website and associated data are hosted by third-party infrastructure providers acting as operators on behalf of Fiscal Bridge within the meaning of POPIA. Such operators process personal information only under written agreement and solely on Fiscal Bridge's instructions, and are contractually bound to maintain equivalent security safeguards.
7. Cross-border transfers
Where personal information is transferred to a recipient outside South Africa (including hosting providers), Fiscal Bridge ensures the recipient is subject to a law, binding agreement, or binding corporate rules that provide an adequate level of protection substantially similar to POPIA, or that the data subject has consented to the transfer.
8. Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law (including tax and financial record-keeping obligations), after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
9. Security safeguards
Fiscal Bridge implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal information against loss, unauthorised access, interference, modification or destruction, as required by section 19 of POPIA.
10. Data subject rights
Subject to POPIA, a data subject may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information; object to processing based on legitimate interest; withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing; and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
